Oh, the good ol' days...

If you'd like, let's play a blog version of Remember When...

I think this will be fun! Here are the directions:

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together or with my family. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

It was neat to see this on my friend, Becky's blog and I decided to play along. It was neat to get to know her a little better.

I remember last 4th of July - Driving around in the rain trying to find the place where we were going to watch the fireworks, only to have them not happen because of the rain!

Walking around Barnes and Nobles and you accidentally picking up that one little journal, saying it was nice, then turning around to see the front said...something I won't repeat. And then later going to read magazines together near the cafe. That was a fun day!

You know, I also want to add that one night we went out for hot chocolate at Dennys, trying to get Jack out of our heads. *shudder* That guy was so CREEPY!!

I remember going in to lead Boy Scouts (Good Gravy, that seems like an eternity ago), and noone showed up. But, you were there with ALL your kids in tow, as I recall, for a Primary achievement night or something. Isaiah did NOT want to be in achievement night, sitting doing nothign, and you were trying to chase your other kids and clap for the kids being featured. So, Isaiah and I sat in the hallway together and played with the camera on my computer, and he just sat quietly and cheerfully for a half hour or so with me.

I remember one of the first times I met you was at Enrichment. I overheard you talking to someone about your husband being away and then saw you leaving will your kids and I had so much admiration for you. I still do. You are amazing and you always had a smile on your face no matter what. You are a great example :)

Julie-- There are so many memories; it's hard to pick just one. I had a lot of fun when we took the little ones to the zoo one day. I think we pulled Diego & Isaiah in a wagon and had the Grace & Ruben in a stroller. That was so much fun.
